Creativity has always been a part of who I am. Long before Imadination became what it is today, I was the one scrapbooking, dreaming up elaborate Halloween parties, experimenting with fondant cakes, and finding any excuse to create something memorable. I was constantly being asked, “How did you come up with that?”
And eventually, that question inspired a name. Imadination—a play on imagination and Madina—became a way to put a name to the creativity that had always come so naturally to me.
My path here wasn’t exactly traditional. I earned my PharmD from the University of Michigan and began my career as a pharmacist, all while building Imadination on the side as my creative passion. But as the events became more elaborate, the ideas became bigger, and Imadination continued to grow, what started as a side passion became something I could no longer imagine not doing.
Today, Imadination is my full-time career and so much more than I ever envisioned when I first began. I now have an incredible team beside me, bringing ambitious ideas to life and creating celebrations on a scale I once could have only imagined.
And somehow, after all these years, I’m still chasing the same feeling that started it all: creating something that makes you wonder, “How did she come up with that?”
